As a ProcessEngineer Co-Op, you will complete project work under the direction of aProcess Engineer. Co-Ops will support the various production departments(Pulp, Paper, Environmental, Utilities) in process optimization andengineering support, which may include but not limited to working onreducing operating costs, conducting data analysis, increasingproduction capacity and reducing process variability. This position alsoworks closely with the Project Engineering and Process Control groups onnew system design. Typical activities include: Reviewing existing datato see if more research and information needs to be collected Designing,installing and commissioning new production equipment, monitoring,modifications and upgrades as well as troubleshooting existing processesAssessing the safety and environmental impact of proposed projectsManaging costs and time constraints of projects Selecting, managing andworking with contractors Working closely with Senior Engineers tomonitor and improve the efficiency, capacity and safety of the millCollecting and interpreting data from other Technical and operatingstaff in the mill Basic Qualifications: Currently working towards abachelor\'s degree in Paper Science or Chemical Engineering.
