LaForceis looking for a Process Coordinator to be responsible for coordinatingmetal frame work orders for shop production and/or for purchasing. Theprocess includes evaluation of engineering change orders and thetechnical application of metal frames and door hardware. The positionalso involves preparing shop work orders through the development of shoptickets. Major Responsibilities Coordinate and expedite processing andmanufacturing work orders for HM Department to include the followingactivities: review of orders for clarity and completeness, designfeasibility, application and troubleshooting work orders for productionand/or purchasing. Work cooperatively with HM Frame shop productioncoordinators to maximize production for manufacturing of parts andmaterials for orders. Work cooperatively with sales, engineering,customer service and production to assure accurate information aboutcustomer requirement of application. Assess frame type as to bemanufactured or assembled from stock, verify raw material and standardinventory availability and identify needs for production of work order.Verify door hardware schedule for every frame to be complete and thatthe preps required do not interfere with each other. Pull and updaterequired manufacturing templates and other hardware locations for workorders. Review and acknowledge all purchase orders verifying cost doesnot exceed buyers planned cost for the order.
