Summary You will serve as a Private Sector Partnership and Engagement Coordinator for the Small Business Administration (SBA), Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience (DR&R), Disaster Policy, Planning, and Partnerships Division (DPPPD), in Washington, District of Columbia. This position is responsible for ensuring effective planning, operation, evaluation, and communication with DR&R, SBA Field Offices as well as SBA's private sector partners. Responsibilities As a Private Sector Partnership and Engagement Coordinator at the GS-0301-14, some of your typical work assignments may include: Ensuring effective planning, operation, evaluation, and communication with private sector partners. Maintaining awareness of policies, procedures, regulations, and legislative actions relevant to the agency's disaster assistance program. Assisting in the establishment of national policies, goals, and operating procedures for the effective management and delivery of disaster assistance program initiatives; identifying procedures to refine and strengthen the disaster assistance program; monitoring progress, evaluating results, and specifying change to improve performance. Coordinating across the DR&R organizational structure to gather background and develop written and visual materials for internal and external audiences. In addition, this Specialized Experience must demonstrate the following: Communicating with private sector partners including non-profits, national and international corporations, and/or federal contractors; Using a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to analyze a disaster assistance program; Assisting management with the implementation of an agency's goals and objectives within an assistance program; AND Writing, editing, and or disseminating information and/or guidance related to disaster assistance programs to stakeholders.
