Job SummaryThe Private Client Advisor's focus will be on our Mass Affluent client basewith planning and financial wellness as the basis of their methodology andwill lead with these concepts. The Advisor will be the primary provider ofinvestment services to KeyBank Mass Affluent clients by providing investmentsolutions to new and existing clients while identifying full relationshipopportunities. Establish a strong partnership with Retail Branch Managers,teams, and Centers of Influence, and maintain strong working relationshipswith all partners.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for growing new clients and expanding existing relationships withclients more than $50,000 in investable assets and will specificallytarget and execute a consistent sales process and financial plan for clientsand prospects with investable assets between $250,000 to $2 Million.Host holistic Financial Wellness conversations and complete comprehensivefinancial plans in order to uncover full household and relationship growthopportunities, both investments as well as banking related, and referringaccordingly.Utilize a consultative sales process and assessment tools where appropriate,provide comprehensive, needs-based financial solutions to clients byoffering a range of investment solutions and partnering with banking centerstaAttain sales production and referral goals to the Bank (closed andaccepted) by working book of business, lead lists, and closing onreceived referrals.Develop a complete understanding of Key Investment Services solutions tosupport cross-selling opportunities and learn the core bank products togenerate quality and qualified referrals back to the LOB's of the ConsumerBank, where appropriate.Be an active member of the Branch team. Engage licensed and non-licensedBranch personnel to identify investment referral opportunities from newclients and the existing bank client base.Coordinate all aspects of investment product delivery within assignedBranch(s), including the coaching and mentoring of branch personnel,client management, service delivery and other resources in order to maximizeclient needs/best interest-based sales production.Develop a strong Center of Influence strategy that leverages partnershipsthroughout the Consumer Bank.Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/oractivities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or withoutnComplies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including withoutlimitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting businessethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the bestinterests of Key's clients and Key.Education QualificationsHigh School Diploma (required) orBachelor's Degree (preferred)Licenses and CertificationsFINRA License S7 Upon Hire (required)FINRA License S66 Upon Hire (required) orFINRA License S63 66 & 65 Upon Hire (required)
