  Collins Aerospace is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Data Scientist to join Global Operations (GOPS) Digital Transformation team. This role is responsible for helping drive decision-making by leveraging data access and visualization. To be successful in this position, you should have a passion for data and a solid understanding of data science fundamentals. You must be a creative problem-solver who is comfortable working with complex and large data sets. We're looking for someone who has a growth mindset and is excited to learn and develop new skills.   You will contribute to establishing Data Science best practices, building the Data Franchise Model for GOPS, and enabling the Connected Ops roadmap of the future. You will develop automation and monitoring processes that support the data pipelines. You will interact with our customers/end-user and citizen developers to gather and document requirements driving alignment and standardization. Identify opportunities to remove current data management waste (manual processes, inconsistent data) You will gain exposure to data processing platforms such as Alteryx (ETL), Snowflake Data Cloud (data storage), and Tableau (visualization) Qualifications/Experience Needed:

  Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experienceDemonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English (verbal and written).U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractCollins Aerospace, an RTX company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
