Job Description:

　　Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Transport Planner to join our team!

　　What You'll Be Doing:

　　Prepare transportation master plans and traffic impact studies for small and large developments including data collection and analysis, and develop and analyze mitigation measures.

　　Carry out urban \metropolitan transportation planning and traffic engineering tasks including corridor studies and regional network studies.

　　Perform operational analysis using standard packages including SYNCHRO, SIDRA, HCS, and VISSIM.

　　Familiarity with travel demand models

　　Collaborate with road design and urban planning teams

　　What Required Skills You'll Bring:

　　Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or related discipline

　　Minimum 12 years hands-on experience in transportation planning including conduct of transportation impacts studies and transportation master plans

　　Experienced in the use of operational and/or travel demand modeling analysis tools

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills

　　What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

　　Master Degree in related field

　　Experience in public transportation and non-motorized transportation planning
