Job Description

　　Insight Global is sourcing for a Principal Technical Writer to join a large energy management and engineering automation company headquartered in Andover, MA. This position will fall within the Process Automation organization, sitting on the Global Services team, reporting into the Head of Offer Creation for Global Services. As the Technical Writer, you will be embedded into an engineering team who's focus is on redesigning & rebuilding data processes from a software company that was acquired. Your purpose is to align to this team's initiatives and republish all the data and give the acquired company a full rebrand of documents specific to the new offers created. You will be dotted lined to the Senior Technical Publications Manager and partnering with multiple other technical writers aligned to other projects across the company.

　　You are required to commute onsite to the Foxboro, MA office, 2 days per week on a 6-month contract to hire. If you are looking for a challenging environment to oversee world-class business impacts within an Energy and Sustainability environment, then this is the place for you.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　Bachelor's degree in technical communication, scientific writing, journalism, English or a similar related subject

　　 - 6+ years of experience in technical writing and documentation development

　　 - Experience utilizing tools for writing and documenting

　　   Adobe FrameMaker, Arbortext Editor, or a similar tool

　　 - Expertise in topic-based authoring

　　 - Prior experience utilizing content management systems

　　   Windchill or Oxygen XML

　　 - Understanding of the concepts of structured authoring and have familiarity with DITA

　　 - Understanding of best practices of being a part of a writing team null
