FTE: 1.000000 Shift: 1 (Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 4:30pm) JobSummary: The Patient Access Service Representative (PASR), follows theFroedtert and the Medical College Performance Excellence CustomerService Standards. Greets and arrives patients. Verifies and updatesdemographic information. Collects monies for copays, supplies, andservices rendered. Balances daily cash collections. Obtains patientsignatures. Assists patients with ancillary appointment scheduling andforms. Schedules, cancels, and reschedules patient appointments. Answersand directs telephone calls. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Previous experiencein a healthcare setting. One year of experience as areceptionist/assistant or work in a customer service field. EDUCATIONDESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalent is required. SPECIALSKILLS DESCRIPTION: Effective communication skills, oral and writtenrequired. Ability to multi-task. Strong proactive organizational skillsa must. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be proficientin Microsoft Outlook and Word. Knowledge of medical terminology andEpicCare is preferred.
