  Principal Technical Professional - Software Engineering

  Principal Technical Professional - Software Engineering, KBR Wyle Services, LLC, Houston, TX:

  Work as a member of large team including other developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Project Manager interacting with related teams on new product development. Create responsive user interface from provided UX design concepts. Integrate with Commercial off-the-shelf software products and configuration of third-party components. Troubleshoot software issues in various deployed environments such as Test, pre-production, and production. Create applications to be deployed on AWS. Design and develop web application using ASP.net, HTML5, JavaScript and CSS. Design and develop REST and SOAP web services using ASP.net. Write SQL Stored Procedures to retrieve data from database. Follow modern software development practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and configuration management. Collaborate with the business analysis team to define user requirements. Create technical specifications for user requirements. Design and develop web application using ASP.net, HTML5, JavaScript and CSS. Design and develop REST and SOAP web services using ASP.net. Write SQL Stored Procedures to retrieve data from database. Follow modern software development practices, including unit testing, continuous integration, and configuration management.

  Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. Candidate may reside/work from anywhere in the U.S.

  Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.

  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience OR a Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.

  Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in:

  .net, IIS;

  HTML5;

  CSS;

  ASP.net;

  SQL Server;

  JavaScript;

  MVC; and

  Rest API.

  Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in:

  Mobile Development, Entity Framework, and AWS.Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. Candidate may reside/work from anywhere in the U.S.
