Kforce's client, a growing Semiconductor Company is seeking to hire a couple of Principal & Senior Principal Power Management Analog IC Design Engineers (PMIC) in Chandler, AZ due to growth.Summary:We are working directly with the Hiring Managers on these search assignments. We have been working with these hiring managers for many years. The company offers competitive compensation, including base salary and Stock/RSU's. In this role, you will be involved in new product development activities. In this role, you will be responsible for designing high performance DC/DC converter products and linear circuits. The candidate will also be involved in true R&D product development activities.Responsibilities: Principal & Senior Principal PMIC Analog IC Design Engineers will architect, implement, and analyze trade-offs of different solutions Drive transistor-level circuit design and simulation Analyze system and block level circuits via simulation and modelling Evaluate and troubleshoot complex integrated circuit problems in the laboratory Interface with test, product and applications engineering to successfully bring new products from definition through production release Principal & Senior Principal PMIC Analog IC Design Engineers will oversee and support physical layout Lead, inspire and mentor junior design engineers Support product datasheets
Requirements
BSEE or MSEE degree with at least 7-12+ years of analog IC design experience including strong Power Management IC Design Experience with the various DC/DC power conversion topologies and/or other types of Power Management IC design (PMIC) experience Strong experience with DC/DC Converter design Knowledge of general lab equipment Strong understanding of device physics Familiar with mixed-signal design, simulation, and modelling Motivated, results oriented, creative problem solver and team player Experience with Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS), Buck or Boost or both is highly desired Understanding of IC Layout is a plus but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
