Position Description:
Performs code migration and configuration, release management, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and application and server support, using Siebel Enterprise Suite, Salesforce Software as a Service (SAAS) application suite, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, and SiteScope. Provides Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) services for applications hosted on Windows and Linux platforms. Supports and engineers solutions to maintain stability and availability for critical applications. Participates in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) infrastructure build and upgrade activities. Maintains current response and availability service levels. Performs root cause analysis and remediation of issues not requiring software changes. Develops, maintains, or implements business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions. Participates in streamlining incident and problem management processes. Identifies application/server performance bottlenecks and fine tunes them for best user experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborates with business and technology teams to increase speed of delivery and improve stability and improve platform availability.Improves observability of applications, platforms, and service interdependences.Minimizes the impact of operational problems by developing strategies and tools to remediate the issue.Provides incident and crisis management.Provides technical leadership for systems installation and configuration, and related infrastructure changes.Investigates and resolves system generated alerts, user reported incidents, and service requests by coordinating with different teams.Troubleshoots issues associated with the migration of on-premise application from systems.Traces transactions from legacy back-end systems to new systems to determine root cause of performance bottlenecks, errors, or application performance issues.Performs log scraping and application error monitoring.Develops scripts and applications to automate repeatable business processes.Provides solutions to program needs for applications.Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex projects across multiple platforms.
Responsible for meeting project goals on-time and on-budget.Advises senior management on technical strategy.Mentors junior team members.Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer (or closely related occupation) configuring middle-services and building Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for onboarding Web applications.*.
Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer (or closely related occupation) configuring middle-services and building Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for onboarding Web applications.

Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") improving availability, stability, and observability of Windows based applications and Cloud platforms using Datadog, Tableau Dashboards, and Catchpoint Synthetic user monitoring.DE performing code migrations and configurations, release management, UAT, and application and server support using Siebel enterprise suite, Salesforce SAAS Application Suite, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, and SiteScope.DE developing scripts and applications to automate repeatable business processes - file transfers, code deployments, and configuration updates - using Windows Shell Scripting and UDeploy; and providing solutions to program needs to reduce manual intervention and promote better user experiences for applications hosted on Windows and Linux using Python and PowerShell Scripting.DE identifying and fine tuning application/server performance bottlenecks to improve user experiences using CRM application event logs, Blueprism, Catchpoint real user monitoring, Splunk Dashboards, Windows Events, and performance log monitors.
