Projects in the lab are inter-disciplinary and span across these research areas. While we are looking for exceptional candidates in all these areas, we are particularly interested in candidates with a demonstrated track record in AI/ML, including new models and architectures, systems support for such workloads, scientific understanding of large ML models, innovative applications of ML models, and explorations at the intersection of AI/ML and societal issues and concerns.
