　　Job Summary:

　　Raytheon provides end-to-end space solutions – from ground control systems to on-orbit sensors – to keep our customers informed and ahead of the threat. Each day, ground stations receive vast amounts of data from satellites in orbit. Using complex algorithms, they process all of the bits and bytes received and turn them into useable information for the end users who consume this data. As the volume of data grows, ground stations need to evolve and adapt.

　　Responsibilities to Anticipate:

　　Perform software development of large-scale software solutions.Basic Qualifications:

　　Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

　　Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years relevant or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations

　　Experience with the C

　　Experience developing real-time, embedded software using VxWorks, Embedded

　　Experienced developing safety critical SW development

　　Experienced with VxWorks OS

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Previous work with satellite ground system software or satellite GPS software

　　Knowledge of developing object-oriented software

　　Experience with unit and automated functional test tools such as Junit, Jmocket or VectorCast.

　　This position is onsite at our campus in spectacular Aurora, CO. The campus is surrounded by 91 miles of walking and hiking trails, including the nearby High Line Canal Trail. 　　The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
