About the job
The Red Hat Developers Business Unit is seekingan experienced product manager to drive the growth of Red Hat Developer Hub (IDP based on backstage.io), an enterprise-grade, open developer platform for building developer portals. In this role, you will be a key leader responsible for guiding the product through its initial product launch and growth phase and defining the future of internal developer platforms to turbocharge developer productivity. Location for this role is flexible, but will need to account for the fact that most of our teams operate in North America or western European time zones.
What you will do
Work with other peer product managers, customers, engineering and support teams to analyze and understand market trends and competitive advancements, applying those insights to drive developer productivity to new heights
Work with products and projects such as Backstage.io, Red Hat OpenShift Platform, Red Hat Ansible, RHEL and various ecosystem ISV partners
Transform the Developer Hub product vision into a set of clearly articulated and rigorously prioritized epics and stories that can be executed on by the engineering team
Scale the acquisition of new customers and help them adopt and expand their usage of Developer Hub
Work with marketing, sales and partner teams to spearhead the customer enablement and outreach strategy
Track and report on progress of work from a customer acquisition, product adoption and market impact perspective
What you will bring
10+ years experience as an enterprise software or SaaS product manager
Successful track record of driving products in the 0→1 and 1→100 phases
Start-up experience strongly preferred
Technical acumen and data-driven approach to product management
Sales enablement and partner enablement experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with open-source projects, processes and business models
Deep knowledge of engineering team processes focused on Agile/Scrum, and their associated tools and challenges
The salary range for this position is $125,760 - $207,530. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
