About the opportunity.
KBR is looking for a Principal Procurement Specialist. Reporting into the Project Procurement Manager, you will be working with multi-discipline Project Teams, liaising with clients and other stakeholders. The role will be based in our Leatherhead Campus on an average of 3 days per week, the rest of the time can be managed to suit your agile working needs subject to role requirements.
What you’ll be doing.
Procurement of assigned mechanical packages required for an Oil and Gas facility
Draft appropriate commercial RFQ documentation
Manage the RFQ process for designated packages
Support the technical bid evaluation, acting as the single point-of-contact for bidders
Coordination of all disciplines to provide Technical and Commercial closure prior to award
Perform detailed commercial bid evaluations
Negotiate and agree purchase order clauses
Lead contractual Terms and Conditions clarifications
Draft commercial Purchase Order documentation for issue
Administration of Purchase Order and Contract Awards
Lead the supplier management relationship post-award
Attend and manage kick-off meetings with suppliers
Support the development and refinement of procurement procedures and processes
Manage vendor payment milestone certificates
Provide input to project progress reports and provide regular management status updates
General Procurement and Contracts administration both manual and electronic
Supplier surveillance and reporting to category management
Ensure compliance with all corporate and client requirements relating to Procurement
What You’ll Need:
Educated to sufficient level to perform the required tasks, degree and MCIPS preferred
Full knowledge and Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge of SAP (KBR IPMS would be an advantage)
Experience within Oil & Gas projects.
Experience in the procurement of mechanical equipment (rotating equipment and/or static equipment)
Previous demonstrable experience in EPC and/or FEED contracts
Knowledge and Experience in Aramco projects would be an advantage
