TITLE: Principal Engineer ILOCATION: Greenwood Village, CO
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for writing detailed design documentation on 5GNR-SA radio products being deployed in support of Charter's HMNO program.Establish end-to-end processes for wireless network development to includearchitecture of 5G NR-SA. Provide support in the development and continuousimprovement of processes, engineering implementation guidelines, bestpractice documents and templates in support of 5G NR radio development.Develop test plan and methods and define test entrance and exit criteria tovalidate network performance. Create Method of Procedure document fordeployment and configuration of 5G RAN element into the network. Createdetailed performance reports and dashboard for OEMs' RAN system PM countersand confirm validation performance KPI formulae. Monitor 5G-NR networkperformance optimization and improve network KPIs using innovative approachfor radios deployed into the Charter network. Analyze data for coverage,interference, handover and performance issues and provide recommendationsfor network health improvement. Provide monthly roadmap updates on the 5Gradio product life cycle. Provide tier 3 system level expert support toCharter's technical teams in troubleshooting customer issues. Utilize 3GPPRelease 15 or higher for radio design. Create end-to-end design documents forwireless architecture. Support device chipset vendor inter-operability devicetesting (IODT) with CBRS certification based on Charter requirements.Support 5G-NR and 4G LTE system architecture.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) inComputer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or arelated field. 5 years of experience in: 3GPP Release 15 or higher for radiodesign; creating end-to-end design documents for wireless architecture. 3years of experience in 5G-NR and 4G LTE system architecture.
Hybrid office and remote arrangement is available.
National travel required up to 6 days per year.
Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiationsbegin at $159,598 per year.

The pay for this position has a salary range of $159,598.00 to$196,400.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide rangeof factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience andlocation. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms ofcompensation such as bonuses.
