　　The Space Systems Sector Payload and Ground Systems (PGS) Strategic Force Programs (SFP) Business Unit Mission Assurance team is seeking a Principal (Level 3) Engineer Database to join our small, but growing data analytics team . In support of SFP and Mission Assurance, the individual will be responsible for designing and developing automated, end-to-end, ETL pipelines and Data Analytics/Visualization solutions, data application from disparate data sources. We are looking for people who are self-motivated, hardworking, and have demonstrated the ability to find innovative solutions to complex technical problems. This position will be located at Azusa, CA. This role will report on-site daily, and we can accommodate partial teleworking. This will be dependent upon business/program/team need.

　　 Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain a scalable ETL pipelines.Enable storing, searching, processing, and securing of small to large structured or unstructured data sets.Data preparation/cleaning, integration, and automation from heterogeneous sourcesEnsure data integrity and system availabilityCreate and maintain visualization tools and reportsPresent data in a meaningful way to executive management.Identify, evaluate, and recommend core technologies and strategiesDecomposition of user requirements into logical functions/componentsLead small scale data analytics projects from proposal to execution Basic Qualifications for Principal Data Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience with an Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Engineering, OR three (3) years with MastersExperience with integration of data from multiple sourcesExperience with Python, SQL (structure query language), and relational databases.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)Experience with Agile methodology US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Mission Assurance, Procurement, Manufacturing and Software engineeringCurrent & active DoD security clearanceExperience with computer languages (e.g. Python, SQL, Java, VBA, HTML, etc.)Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Power Apps, etc.Familiar with SQL database managementFamiliar with SAP and Oracle based data warehouseAbility to learn and apply machine learning to data analysisExcellent communication skills and customer facing experienceExperience with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, etc.)Salary Range: $107,300 - $160,900

　　The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

　　Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
