About Press Operator

　　Position Title: Press Operator - 12 Hour Shifts

　　Wage: $15.00/hour

　　Shift: 12 Hours

　　If you are looking for a fun and fast paced environment to work in, look no further! QPS is hiring for 1st shift Press Operators for our client company in Newton, IA. Having to work 12-hour shifts is a must, however you will rotate every other weekend while having random days off in the middle of the week!

　　Press Operator Responsibilities:- Remove printed materials from the press in preparation for shipping- Assist in operating web fed offset printing press- Prepare stacking area by moving skids and building boxes- Load materials through press- Hang or remove plates upon set up or clean up- Clear waste from folder- Stack products on to skids- Check quality of the prints

　　Requirements for Press Operator:- Able to stand for duration of shift- Able to bend, crouch and kneel throughout shift- Able to repetitively lift 20lbs (10 times/hour)- Able to occasionally lift 20-50lbs (3-5 times/hour)- Able to lift 50-100lbs rarely (1-2 times/day)
