　　The President has full responsibility for the Alloy Surfaces Company, Inc. (ASC) Business Unit facilities in Chester Township, PA.  ASC invented Special Material (SM) decoys and currently manufactures infrared (IR) air countermeasures. The company has more than 60 years' experience in designing and developing unique IR emitting coatings and pyrophoric materials for DoD applications. SM decoys are the mainstay of U.S. Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) solutions, are combat proven, and have been fielded worldwide by many allied nations.  The President has full accountability for all aspects of the Business Unit (BU) operations including Profit & Loss and direct line management responsibility for all line/staff functions to ensure all monthly, quarterly, and annual safety and business objectives are met. The position reports to the President, CHG Group, Inc. (CHGi).  The President is expected to model the Chemring Group values of Safety, Excellence, and Innovation.

　　```- Lead the organization in a manner consistent with corporate values, modeling integrity, inclusiveness, teamwork, and corporate partnership- Serve as the principal point of contact with ASC's U.S. Government customers in assessing demand for SM decoys and identifying appropriate contract vehicles to allow ASC to fulfill that demand- Lead the development of annual operating plans (budgets) and deliver business commitments- Direct the strategic planning for the organization within the context of the ASC Five Year Strategic Plan- Contribute to the development of capital improvement plans and execute capital projects that are approved by the business.- Lead the continued maturation of the corporate Operational Framework implementation and certify Operational Assurance Statements twice per year- In conjunction with staff, develop, administer and maintain continuous improvement methodologies for the site- Serve as the principal public relations spokesperson for ASC- Ensure full compliance with the U.S. Health, Safety and Environmental laws and regulations to ensure a best-in-class safety culture.  Ensure that all products, components, chemicals, plant & machinery, test equipment and working conditions at each site fully comply with national and international legislative requirements- Ensure full compliance with all U.S. Government agencies that have jurisdiction over the activities of the business, as well as applicable federal, state and local regulations- Oversee training and development of the workforce to align with forecasted business challenges and opportunities- Ensure that all staff are effectively managed, set realistic annual objectives and long-range goals and provide regular feedback and appraisal of their performance- Resolve escalated customer complaints and service concerns
