OVERVIEW: Goddard Lake Houston is growing!  We are the premier private childcare, preschool, and kindergarten in the Humble, Atascocita, Lake Houston, and Kingwood areas.  We are the only childcare that is both NAEYC and Cognia accredited in the area.  We have an immediate opening for Preschool Lead Teacher-2 Year Olds.  Our teachers work together to establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing, and fun learning environment.   RESPONSIBILITIES: Teacher responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Manage the classroom and Assist Teachers. * Adhere to all internal and external policies. * Advance children’s intellectual, social, and physical development. * Support each child’s emotional development and provide positive guidance. * Lesson planning. * Establish positive and effective family relations. * Maintain a clean and presentable classroom. * Work as a team. * Respond to all children’s needs. * Maintain professional commitment.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: * Experience in a private preschool and/or a group childcare environment is desired, but not required. * Proven ability to be dependable and on-time according to faculty schedule. * Must be willing to work flexible hours.   DESIRED EXPERIENCE/COURSEWORK: * Entry level positions are available. * Experienced positions with at least one (1) year experience in a private preschool and/or a group childcare are available. * Bachelor’s degree, Associates degree, or current CDA preferred but not required.
