McKenzie County Healthcare Systems has an exciting and rewarding opportunity available for a Hospital Pharmacist! McKenzie County Healthcare Systems consists of a Critical Access Hospital, Surgical Department, Rural Health Clinic, Nursing Home and Assisted Living, all located on one campus, in beautiful western North Dakota. Our newly constructed, state of the art facility is a "shining star" in rural North Dakota and we provide quality care to the residents of McKenzie County and beyond.

　　Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Compound and dispense prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care.Act as a drug information resource to all patients and staff.Interpret physician prescriptions and medication orders.Monitor patient profiles to confirm accuracy, drug allergies, drug interactions, etc. are correct and being adhered to.Ensure MCHS pharmaceutical program is fully compliant with all Federal, State, and Local regulations.Applicants must be hard-working, dependable, and possess strong communication skills and computer literacy. Applicants must possess a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent from an accredited School of Pharmacy. They also must have a current Pharmacist certification or licensure for the State of North Dakota, or work to transfer it to the State of North Dakota. SALARY IS TBD based on experience.
