We are looking for an experienced Senior Power BI UX Developer who will assume a key role on our team. This role has responsibility for understanding our platform that enables organizations to digitally transform their business processes through portals, dashboards, and workflows.

　　This role will be operating on a hybrid schedule with three (3) days onsite and two (2) days telework in our Herndon Virginia office.

　　Requirements

　　Expert in Power BI UX

　　Primarily responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and maintaining dashboards and reports.

　　Performs duties of a Power BI UX Admin using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Reports generation.

　　Have a strong background in UX design.

　　Works with stakeholders to identify trends, aggregate data and build visually appealing reports in Microsoft Power BI (primary tool) or possibly other applications that may be specified by our customers (e.g.- Tableau, Qlik, Tulip, IBM Cognos, iDashboards, Business Objects, etc.)

　　Able to apply data visualization best practices to construct, steward, curate, and leverage end-to-end digital content for programmatic dashboards.

　　Gains insight into key business problems and deliverables by applying statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources.

　　Troubleshooting and maintenance of dashboards and reports.

　　Contribute and maintain technical knowledge base, standards, and user training documents.

　　Participates in the definition and design of data security solutions.

　　Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.

　　Plans and leads major technology assignments.

　　Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.

　　Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.

　　May supervise others.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s Degree and eight (8) years or more experience.

　　A minimum of eight (8) years of development or data science experience with experience developing analysis and visualizations with Power BI.

　　At least eight (8) years using quantitative, analytical, or statistical techniques to model and visualize data.

　　Deep knowledge with additional / full Power BI tools suite – Power BI desktop, Power BI report server, Power Apps, Power BI report Builder, Power BI Gateways, Power BI Embedded, and Power BI mobile.

　　Strong understanding and ability to transform and integrate new and existing data sets.

　　Demonstrated knowledge of statistical applications.

　　Proven ability to effectively lead and collaborate in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment.

　　Nice to have:

　　Prior DOD (Department of Defense) experience.

　　Certified Power BI / Power Platform certifications are strongly preferred.

　　Microsoft Power App Maker Certification and/or Microsoft Data Analyst Associate Certification.

　　The target pay range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000, based on experience.
