Position : Postgres DBA

Location : Manapakkam, Chennai, IND-TN

We are looking for a Postgres expert who is able to contribute with: (almost like a Postgres architect with hands-on experience)

Best practices for Postgres i.e. configuration

Performance troubleshooting tips tools like if someone says my query is slow so they start from levels (Server, Database, Query optimization)

Can he recommend WAL, Log sizing – e.g. 25% of database size, buffer sizing as a rule of thumb.

Best way to take backups efficiently

Has handy queries to troubleshoot issues around database blocks, session history
