The Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi is inviting applicants for a post doctoral hire in the area of particle detector physics.

　　Applicants will work on activities pertaining to the research lines of the group of Prof. Arneodo, among which

　　Dark Matter search with liquid xenon detectors or dielectric haloscopes.

　　Detection of charged radiation and gamma rays in space.

　　Application of radiation detection techniques to cultural heritage.

　　Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in physics at the time of hiring. Knowledge of radiation detection techniques with scintillators (organic or inorganic), also on space-based experiments, and/or silicon detectors, is required as well as excellent coding skills. Experience in data analysis is a title of preference.
