Modern Microprocessors Architecture Lab, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work on state-of-art research on security and privacy. There is a position available for 3 topics (applicants need to select one): 1) Private machine learning inference, 2) Industrial control systems security, 3) Machine learning security. The researcher will be mainly based in New York University Abu Dhabi, UAE, and can closely collaborate with researchers from New York University, USA. The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of cyber security and must hold a PhD degree or have submitted a PhD thesis.

　　Responsibilities of the Position:

　　● Research

　　Conduct world class research in systems security and privacy.

　　Analyse a research problem, design, implement, and test the solution.

　　Write a research article. Present the result in a conference, workshop etc.

　　Publish work in top-tier conferences and journals.

　　Work closely with collaborators (such as government entities and companies) to deliver ground breaking results.

　　● Supervision

　　Mentor PhD, master, and/or bachelor students.

　　Work with them to improve their research capability.

　　● Service

　　Help the lab in conducting workshop, conference, competition etc. by contributing technically and/or administratively.

　　Essential Qualifications

　　● PhD in computer science/engineering with expertise in a security or privacy research topic

　　● Excellent analytic, design, and coding skills.

　　● Excellent communication (both writing and oral) and interpersonal skills.

　　● Can work independently or in a team.

　　● Willingness to take initiative.
