　　Robert Half is seeking a Property Accountant for our client! This is a great opportunity to get a foot in the door with a long standing and stable real estate firm based in south Denver. The company has excellent leadership, a strong team in place, and is growing at a steaady

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

　　3+ years of recent experience in real estate accounting.

　　Preferably, previous experience in a commercial real estate firm.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties.

　　Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

　　Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for assigned properties.

　　Post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as necessary.

　　Manage cash flow for assigned properties, including monitoring bank accounts and reconciling discrepancies.

　　Process and review accounts payable and receivable transactions.

　　Lease Administration:

　　Review and analyze lease agreements to ensure accurate billing and compliance.

　　Assist in the preparation of property tax returns and other relevant tax compliance documents and coordinate with external tax consultants as needed.

　　Conduct financial analysis on property performance, trends, and potential risks.

　　Support internal and external audit processes by providing requested documentation and explanations.

　　Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including property management, to achieve financial objectives.

　　Software Proficiency:

　　Experience with Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar software

　　Utilize accounting software and systems for financial record-keeping and reporting.

　　Stay updated on industry-specific software tools and technologies.
