  This is a Plumber I position with a company in Ridgeland, MS.

  Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Plumber Level I to join our Service Experts HVAC and Plumbing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of plumbing duties, including installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership skills.

  Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify and diagnose issues or defects. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan plumbing system layouts and installations. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to discuss project requirements and timelines. Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects. Carry out installations and repairs of plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters. Cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and techniques. Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials. Weld, solder, or join pipes using approved methods. Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning. Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions. Adhere to plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards. Mentor and provide guidance to junior plumbers and helpers. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used. Coordinate with suppliers to procure plumbing materials and equipment.

  Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program is preferred. Proven experience as a Plumber Helper or Apprentice or similar role. In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices. Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Effective communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects. Valid plumbing license/certification is preferred. Valid driver's license.
