　　Summary: Craig Technologies has an opening for a Platform Engineer in Fairfax, VA. As a Platform Engineer for the AN/BYG-1 and Tactical Control Systems programs, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for enabling a seamless developer experience. You will continuously focus on removing hurdles to enable rapid capability development experience by software and infrastructure developers, utilizing the best in breed practices and technologies.

　　Detailed Description:

　　Contribute to the automation of infrastructure and tools to streamline operations, deployment, and monitoring processes.

　　Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of containerized environments.

　　Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure seamless integration of new features.

　　Position Requirements:

　　Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies, especially including CNCF graduated projects, such as ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, Nexus, Helm, Jenkins, Bamboo or other continuous integration tools.

　　You have a passion for pain-free developer experience and understand the pain points developers experience in developing and shipping new features into production.

　　You stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and proactively find opportunities to operational them.

　　Ability to work in a flexible environment that embraces rapid change, emphasizes continuous learning, and attack new challenges.

　　Clear understanding of the software engineering concepts, principles, theories, software development process, and agile methodology.

　　Clear understanding of the software development process, with agile experience.

　　Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.

　　Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.
