Position Purpose: The Plant Associatewill ensure all waste is unloaded from vehicles, the vehicles aredecontaminated, and waste is properly staged for scanning andprocessing. The individual will perform the duties in a safe andproductive manner. Key Job Activities: * Unload waste from incomingvehicles. Separates non-autoclavable waste to be incinerated * Stagewaste on conveyor system or properly stack waste for scanning in theBiotrack system * Scan waste into the Biotrack system for properrecordkeeping purposes * Load autoclave bins or incinerator hopper withwaste for processing * Place reusable containers on tub wash line fordecontamination * Operates tub wash unit ensuring the wash unit isoperating properly. Removes clean tubs from wash unit, inspects tubs andstacks for loading onto assigned vehicle for reuse * Operates tub washsprayer for oversized reusable tubs ensuring the unit is operatingproperly. Inspects tubs and stacks for loading onto assigned vehicle forreuse * Decontaminates vehicles cargo-carrying portion, reloadsassigned reusable tubs and ensures cargo-carrying portion of vehicledoes not have free liquid on the floor. Informs plant supervisor thevehicle is ready to be moved from dock area * Ensures housekeepingissues, e.g., spills cleaned up, floor is dry, and debris not on floor,etc., are addressed immediately * Perform other duties andresponsibilities, as assigned Education: Preferred Education: in HighSchool or Equivalent Experience: * Ability to communicate effectivelyand understand and follow health and safety directives and performanceand conduct standards, policies and procedures that apply to the roleand location * 0-1 Years of Experience, preferably in plant...
