　　Position OverviewOversees the activities of the shipping and receiving department, including the proper handling of materials, ensuring accurate, timely shipments, adherence to safety procedures, and directing activities to meet the financial and marketing objectives of the company. Communicates expectations, motivates team members, and assesses performance. Provides help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance. Act as leader on duty, responding to escalations in the absence of the manager.ResponsibilitiesSupervises the work activities of FT/PT and Temporary Team Members including:Schedules Team Member work hours.Participates in hiring and training new FT/PT and seasonal Team Members hired for peak seasons.Assesses team members' performance and, in partnership with management, holds accountability when required.Ensures Team Members follow company and facility policies, procedures, and standards.Oversees the maintenance of systems data, forms, files, and reports in accordance with policies and procedures.Ensure the shipping/receiving area has adequate supplies and materials and the area is neat, clean, and organized.Verifies incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, or packing slips to ensure all items are received, not damaged, and enters them into systems in compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.Communicates and ensures Safety best practices, policies, and procedures are followed at all times. Leads by example, observes, and coaches for safe behaviors of team members in the work area. Follows up on Safety issues immediately.Other duties as assigned.

　　1-3 years of warehouse/fulfillment experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.Experience with training others and leading a team is preferred.
