Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring Structural Welders up to $50.00/hour (Weekly). Client pays very generously with competitive pay rates in the market. Client locations in San Diego, CA. Ideal candidate would be looking for a long term opportunity and grow with a company, and willing to be a part of an exciting team. The welder position will be working in a shipyard/shop environment.

　　Qualifications:

　　Over three years' experience in welding, knowledge of welding procedures, and various types of welding equipment, proficient in flat, vertical, overhead, and horizontal ARC, SMAW and Flux-Core, TIG welding and Air Arc skills.

　　Must pass weld plate test in all positions and pipe test on 6G restricted fix position using FCAW and GTAW processes.

　　Must be certified to operate high reaching equipment.

　　Must have ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and be available to work any shift.

　　Must be able to read and interpret blueprints

　　Must be able to hear warning signals, read and comprehend safety instructions, regulations and warnings.

　　Multiple shifts available at certain times. (ASK)

　　PPE will be provided upon start of job like: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, face shield for weld helmets, gloves, and respirator.

　　Could be a mix of working indoors and outdoors, on the waterfront. VERY CLOSE TO TROLLEY and public transportation.

　　$160 a day in per diem (worked days)
