WORK LOCATION: Ann Arbor, MISALARY RANGE: $25 - $30FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt SUMMARYThe Inventory Control Coordinator works independently and is responsible for the monitoring, reporting, and maintaining of accurate inventory levels. The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for properly receiving incoming inventory, timely staging and timely proper shipping of outgoing orders while adhering to safety procedures and providing accuracy.RESPONSIBILITIESThe following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties. Setting up and executing outgoing shipments through assorted carriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx, 3rd Party LTL, Customer Portals, etc.)Organizing and filing all outgoing shipment documents both physically and digitally; making sure they are traceable and trackable if necessary.Receive incoming shipments. Pull original order(s), match order to incoming shipment and move the products to inventory.Complete RFQ to audit all items received back transportation needs. Audit Bill of Lading to ensure all items received are complete and not damaged or incorrect.Accurately receive or send products and record to ensure Warehouse, Planning, Manufacturing, and customer requirements are metCompiles inventory information such as consumption rate, characteristics, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.Inputs data and generates audit reportsReview conduct full cycle accounts in inventory staging area that align all processing counts and trouble shoot issues, escalate as requiredMatch all original requests, orders, received or shipped products, track late orders with follow-up and documentation, move material to inventory control area, return damaged or incorrect products, documents all process on company computers for record retention, communicate with management on any concernsRecord / correct variances in ERP system and audit levelsReconciling discrepancies on goods received reporting discrepancies to management when neededDaily scanning, counting, logging and inspecting of all goods entering warehouse in accordance with Edge business practicesMarking and identifying tags for goods receivedAssembling all incoming PO specifications and create forecasts with inventory control coordinator rack requirements and locations for incoming goodsCoordinating with QA on all outgoing and incoming shipments quality status assists with inspection as requestedDaily palletizing, inspecting, and staging of orders shipped from IDL in accordance with Standard Operating ProcedureDaily retrieving and storing stock as scheduled via equipment or if applicable manuallyREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSThe following are a non-exhaustive list of qualifications for the position:HS Diploma/GED3+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment3+ years of Shipping Receiving experienceForklift Certification and operationHazmat CertifiedUnderstanding of Hazmat, Export Compliance and shipping lawsDemonstrated effective communication skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructionDemonstrated superior detail orientation skillsEDGE AUTONOMY BENEFITS Matching 401(k)Paid PTOPaid holidaysMedical, vision, and dental insuranceGroup Short-Term Long-Term DisabilityHSA and FSA OptionsCritical Care PlanAccident Care PlanHiring RequirementsIf an offer of employment offer is extended, applicant must have the ability to pass a background check and the ability to be insured by the Companys Auto-policy.
