Innovative Pilot Plant Operator for Climate Tech Start-Up (Night Shift)

Hours: 8 PM - 8 AM (Graveyard Shift)

Role Overview:
As a Pilot Plant Operator, you'll be at the heart of our experimental processes, working with cutting-edge pilot plant scale equipment. Your role will be hands-on, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain pilot plant equipment to support engineering units.
Assemble and modify equipment based on plans and team directives.
Maintain and organize working areas within the pilot plant.
Process raw rock materials for experimental purposes.
Handle acids and bases in accordance with test plans.
Validate and troubleshoot operational parameters.
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks.
Record and manage experimental data using pre-made Excel templates.
Collaborate seamlessly with teammates to achieve common goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (Chemistry preferred).
2+ years of experience in a plant or start-up operating environment.
Proficient in operating process equipment (pumps, mixers, heaters, filters) after training.
Skilled in operating mechanical equipment (crushing, pressing) after training.
Comfortable with basic mathematical calculations.
Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds of materials.
Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Experience in a machine shop or laboratory environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Slack, and Google products.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
