The Urology program is one of the premiere centers in Southern California, using minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat diseases of the urinary tract. Compared to open surgery, minimally invasive surgery may require only a few small incisions or none at all. If your physician determines that you are an appropriate candidate for minimally invasive urologic surgery, you may have less pain, faster recovery and fewer complications than with open surgery.

Analyzes and prioritized the care of clinically sophisticated patients/clients, including sociocultural, cognitive, functional, nutritional and educational evaluation, leading to the development of a problem list and patient management plan and communicates to patient, family and interdisciplinary team.

Patient advocate throughout the care process and represents the medical center at regional and national meetings/conferences.

Assesses quality of patient care delivery and finds opportunities for changes in practice, rooted in evidence-based standards of care/protocols, which promote positive patient outcomes.

Adjusts to the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare environment, demonstrating flexibility in approach and care strategies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner’s program.

California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License.

DEA License (schedule 2-5).

National Provider Identifier (NPI).

ACLS Certification

One (1) plus years’ experience as Nurse Practitioner, preferably in urology.
