Bluegrass Orthopaedics is hiring a full time Front Desk Assistant for our Physical Therapy Registration department in Lexington, Ky. As a Front Desk Assistant (Receptionist) for Bluegrass Orthopaedics, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities of our facility to ensure smooth operations. As a Front Desk Assistant your job duties will also include a variety of secretarial business aspects of patient care include collecting their ID (drivers license) and insurance cards, scan cards into the patient chart, verify insurance eligibility, collect copay and balances, assist patient in reviewing their demographic information/signing of consent forms/and medical history review. The Front Desk Assistant will also complete a clinic review for the clinics that will occur the next day to assure everything is taken care of prior to the start of the next day. The Front Desk Assistant will report to the Registration Supervisor and the Business Services Director. Bluegrass Orthopaedics has been serving Central and Southeastern Kentucky for over 25 years.
