JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description The Phlebotomist performs basic laboratoryfunctions of blood and urine collections for both rheumatologic andorthopedic patients. This is a full-time role Monday - Friday normalbusiness hours between 7:30am-5:30pm. Accurate and timely processing of specimens. Performs specimenprocessing Trouble-shoots minor equipment issues. Stocks, rotates, andrequests phlebotomy supplies on a regular basis to ensure properavailability. Greets patients, performs check-in process, and respondsto questions and patient needs. Evaluates patient orders forcompleteness and follows up as needed. Schedules, orders, and releasespatient\'s in electronic medical record. Maintains safety, education,and competency requirements. Performs various clerical duties. Any andall other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements:Certification in phlebotomy or CMA required. Minimum 5 years ofexperience in phlebotomy or lab draws in a clinical setting arerequired. High School Diploma/Equivalent Essential Requirements: Abilityto: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and businessethics guidelines. Complete job required training.
