Meet the team:
Intermediate warehousing position that is expected complete all tasksunder general supervision. Material Handler 3 performs a variety ofwarehouse functions including but not limited to receiving, shipping,manufacturing support, and inventory control. Position in responsiblefor completing the physical and systematic movement of material inaccordance with all safety, cGMP, and quality procedures. Position isexpected to transact all material timely and compile and maintain allrequired documents for material movement as per quality procedures. Thisposition may work with raw materials, dangerous goods, WIP materials,finished goods, returned goods, R&D materials, etc.
Where you come in:
Completes all warehousing activities including but not limited toreceiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control incompliance with Safety, cGMP, and Quality Standard OperatingProcedures.Able to perform all activities of a Material Handler 2.Utilizes pallet jacks, stand-up reach trucks, sit-down reach trucks,turret trucks, electric rider jacks, box trucks to unload/loadmaterial and transport it between areas.Able to obtain and/or has been certified on multiple types ofmaterial handling equipment.Performs transactions in ERP/WMS system including but not limited toshipping, entering cycle counts and material receipts, shipments,etc.Able to investigate and resolve shipping or receiving issuesutilizing ERP/WMS system.Broad knowledge of Oracle ERP/High Jump WMS system.Able to perform intermediate functions in Excel including such ascreating tables, sorting/filtering data, etc.Able to coordinates inbound and outbound freight.Able to support international shipping activity.Cross-trained in multiple functions in the warehouse(s) such asreceiving, shipping, and inventory control.In collaboration with his supervisors, assists in implementingprocess improvement ideas.Assists in leading daily team meetings to review team performanceand daily workload.Provides hands on training to new employees/temporary employees onwarehouse functions.Helps assign activities to team based on priorities set byleadership.Creates and/runs basic reports around performance metrics.Investigates a resolves basic customer requests from internalpartners.What makes you successful:
4+ years of experience in material handling role.1 year utilizing Oracle/WMS or 2 years of experience completingtransactions in other ERP/WMS system1+ year experience operating electric powered material handl ngequipmentBasic computer data entry skillsBasic understanding of Microsoft OfficeAbility to obtain a forklift certificationStrong written and verbal English communication skillsStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsWhat you\'ll get:
