　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　The Pharmacy Technicianprovidesfunctional and clerical supporttothepharmacists and ensures that all medications are handled, packaged,preparedand charged according to currently accepted policies and practices. 　　What you will do in this role:

　　Shift: 7am - 11am, Weekends

　　You will support medication reconciliation and general hospital pharmacy work flow.

　　You will fill orders by accurately preparing and packaging medications.

　　You will deliver medications and other pharmacy supplies to the nursing units.

　　You will perform the daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet (ADC) routine as assigned (i.e. restocks, outdates, discrepancy resolution, loading and unloading, etc.) and troubleshoot ADC issues (i.e. orders not coming across, drawer failures, medication jams, communication failures, etc.).

　　You will process medication returns (unused, discontinued or patient discharge).

　　You will monitor pharmacy inventory and notify the manager of products that need to be reordered.

　　You will assist the pharmacists in clinical reviews as assigned (i.e. medication reconciliation, triaging reports, etc.).

　　You will accurately maintain required documentation logs and perform audits (i.e. anesthesia, overrides, etc.) as assigned.

　　What qualifications You Will Need:

　　Prefer High school student or graduate that is pursuing a medical career.

　　Must receive Missouri State Pharmacy Technician or Intern registration within 60 days of employment.

　　Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

　　Possess the ability to work effectively in a team.

　　Demonstrated competence surrounding pharmaceutical terminology

　　Effective decision making skills and attention to detail

　　Ability to perform in a high-stress environment
