Job Description

　　Insight Global is sourcing for a Pharmacy Operations Specialist to join a not-for-profit community based healthcare organization. The Pharmacy Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the operational functions of the internal pharmacy program. Operational functions include; formulary management, quality assurance, regulatory and compliance. The Pharmacy Operations Specialist must be knowledgeable with Medicare Part D (Medicare drug coverage), and be able to assist members with any questions/issues. This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt in a fast paced environment. This position is a 100% remote yearlong contract role.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　-Knowledgeable with Medicare Part D (Medicare drug coverage)

　　-Experience working in a health care or health insurance environment

　　-Previous experience as a pharmacy tech, moving into a more operational role

　　-Experience with administrative components of formulary creation, development, and maintenance

　　-Experience completing quality assurance activities to ensure work meets regulatory requirements

　　-Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate/collaborate with internal team members, members, and stakeholders -Active pharmacy license null
