Job Summary and Qualifications

Under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacist Intern will engage in the practice of pharmacy which includes the interpretation of prescription orders, compounding, packaging, labeling, dispensing, and the coincident distribution of prescription drugs or devices containing drugs such as inhalers. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist the Intern may also participate in 1) the provision of pharmaceutical care, 2) drug utilization review; 3) ensuring the proper and safe storage of drugs and devices; 4) maintenance of records of drugs and devices, 5) provision of patient counseling.

What qualifications you will need:

State License Pharmacy Intern

High School Graduate / GED

Maintains pharmacy intern licensure while pursuing Florida pharmacist licensure
