Pharmacy Operational Hours: M-F, 8 am to 5 pm
How You’ll Make an Impact:
As a Pharmacist-In-Charge on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll work at the top of your license, contribute to a community’s well-being, and lead the pharmacy team. With autonomy, you’ll drive efficient, effective, and continually improving pharmacy operations, while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.
Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
Business acumen and leadership; own pharmacy operations and embrace continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development.
Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.
Clinical oversight and industry innovation; committee member participation as Omnicell leads innovation in medication management and elevates the roles of the pharmacist in healthcare.

What You’ll Bring:
Basic Qualifications:
Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination.
Pharmacist license current and in good standing in the state of California.
Maintain continuing education requirements as part of pharmacist license maintenance.
A growth mindset and maintain any continuing education requirements.
One year of experience in the practice of pharmacy/pharmacy management.
One year of experience working directly with patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two to three years of experience in pharmacy management.
Specialty Pharmacy experience (within a health system a plus).
Working knowledge of 340B.
Working knowledge of Oncology.
Experience managing direct/indirect reports.
Working knowledge of Interfacing with hospital/health system/provider exec teams.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Must be able to daily commute to pharmacy site during operational hours .
Enjoy a friendly, relaxed environment; this is a not a big-box retail atmosphere.
This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes.

Compensation will vary based on region. For the state of California only, expected pay is $126,690 - $160,474.
