Home Care Assistance is seeking an experienced, high energy PSW (male preferred) to work here in Barrie. The schedule is ongoing and predictable. We offer a great hourly rate and continuity of care is a top priority.

　　Please see below for the proposed schedule:

　　Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri: 2pm-8pm

　　Wed 8am-3pm (possibly till 8 pm)

　　Likely every other Saturday but not confirmed as of yet;

　　Guarantee of 31 - 36 hours during the week

　　If every other Saturday is added it would be another 10 hours biweekly.

　　Responsibilities of a Personal Support Worker:

　　Establish open communication with clients and their families

　　Accompany clients on community outings 

　　Personal care including bathing, dressing, mobility, personal care, feeding and other services outlined in the care plan

　　Companionship 

　　Medication management 

　　Job Requirements:

　　Experience working with physical disabilities, mechanical lifts and transferring 

　　A passion for the job and helping others

　　PWS Certificate

　　Current VSC

　　Current CPR

　　Must have reliable transportation and valid insurance

　　Ability to pass a reference check

　　A hunger to learn how to best care for your clients

　　Physically able to lift and support 50 pounds
