COOK - 6 Temporary Full Time Jobs (4/01/25-11/01/25)

BAY HEAD YACHT CLUB - 111 Metcalfe Street, Bay Head, NJ 08742.

Prep, season, cook, plate garnish meals. Measure/mix ingredients per recipe for cooking from scratch. Follow portion control, presentation, consistency, flavor, proper sanitation procedures. Observe/test food cooked. Help stewards/dishwashers at end of night restock clean china, glasses and utensils to proper areas. May substitute/assist other cooks in emergencies/rush periods.

Must be available to work split-shifts, nights, weekends holidays as needed. Must be able to lift, pull, push or carry up to 25 lbs or more, and walk or stand for long periods of time. Professional appearance, able to communicate in English.

35 hrs/wk minimum, shifts vary Mon-Sun 7a-11p. $20.41/hr minimum, overtime possible but not guaranteed @ $30.62/hr.

Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation at the company's sole discretion based on individual factors, including work performance, skill or tenure. A single workweek is used to compute wages due, wages paid weekly.

All deductions from the workers paycheck which are required by law will be applied. Optional housing may be available. If elected, rent to not exceed $150/week deducted from paycheck. Tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job provided at no charge. H-2B workers reimbursed during first workweek for visa or government fees incurred (excluding passport fees). Most economical and reasonable cost of transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be reimbursed only if the worker completes half the employment period.

Daily subsistence during travel will be $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59.00/day with receipts. Return transportation provided only if worker dismissed early or full employment period is completed except where worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.
