Recently named by The Boston Globe as one of The Top Places to Work in Massachusetts, our community based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks a Per Diem Physical Therapist to join its expanding clinical care team. Travel is required for this position. Care is provided in patient’s private homes and residential facilities throughout Greater Boston and parts of Metrowest.
Job Responsibilities :
Our physical therapists provide services in accordance with the hospice plan of care and with accepted standards of practice, including, as appropriate, those of the American Physical Therapy Association. Physical therapists document all therapy interventions, complete initial and ongoing assessments of the patient’s/family’s response to therapy, and identify potential problems.
Education, Skills and Experience :
Qualified Physical Therapist, licensed in Massachusetts.
Experience with interdisciplinary team setting.
Excellent communication skills
Empathy and sensitivity regarding the needs of terminally ill people and their families.
