Description:

　　Candidate will be working on a team of designers to design trusses for buildings. They will be using CAD software to design trusses to industry standards and client needs as well as producing the estimates. They will design the structure of the truss and then engineer and calculate live load and total load resistance points.

　　Read and understand blueprints and detailed technical drawings

　　Design residential roof and floor systems and produce layouts using MiTek software

　　Ability to relate and communicate with customers regarding quotes and projects

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　MUST:

　　Have interest working with trusses, wall panels, houses.

　　Be able to sit at a computer all day

　　6+ months AutoCAD

　　Ability to read blueprints PLUS:

　　6+ months experience designing, or construction experience.

　　6+ months of construction experience.

　　Associates degree in design or drafting.

　　6+ months as a designer designing specific trusses, or houses
