Job Description

Per Diem CT Technologist – MSK Nassau

Join our Radiology team atMSK Nassau! We are seeking a Per Diem CT Technologist for M SK Nassau , our freestanding outpatient facility, located in Uniondale, NY. This site allows us to offer the most-advanced cancer care services closer to home for patients residing in Nassau Queens, NY counties.

Role Overview:

Perform a variety of CT. and X-ray imaging procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on patients of all age groups.

Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and practices.

Explain procedures to patients, monitoring for patient safety and comfort, administering contrast (IV and/or Oral).

Conduct imaging in accordance to established protocols and quality standards.

Enter complete and accurate documentation into all MSK/Radiology systems.

Perform general radiology procedures.

Key Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree / Certified Vocational Training or Graduate of a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school.

ARRT in Radiography and CT

Minimum 2 yrs experience in CT preferred and operating GE systems.

NYS Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography, IV Certification

Additional Information:

Location: MSK Nassau, in Uniondale, Long Island.

Schedule: Flexed shifts between 8am – 6pm, Saturdays Sundays, with weekday availability a plus. Possible holidays, as needed

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology

Pay Range : $60.00-$65.00/hr.
