The position will serve as the contract administer and recognized resource for all specialized refugee integration programs. The positions will administer all aspects on the contract process, including conducting on-site and in-office reviews of contracted agency program materials, developing assessment tools, assessing contract compliance, reviewing contractor financials reports, and reviewing client case files. As it relates to integration programming, position will work on program evaluation, development, and implementing new services.
The position will be the main point of contact for related stakeholders for refugee integration services. Position functions as a recognized resource in the Office of Global Michigan to private agencies, contracted partners, other state agencies, and the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement in regard to specialized refugee integration services.
The position will also provide support for Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) and Refugee Medical Assistance (RMA) polices as it related to integration and self-sufficiency. The position will oversee the State and Federal policy items and provide clarification on policies and eligibility determination decisions.

This position will work remotely. Occasional travel to the office. All work must be performed in the Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position. You must have reliable internet service.
Required Education and Experience
Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience
Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
Alternate Education and Experience
Departmental Analyst 12
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
