Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in San Jose, California. This role is in the Hi Tech Engineering industry and will focus on various accounting functions, benefit functions, and the administration of payroll systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the processing of payroll using Accounting Software Systems and ADP Workforce Now.

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services and Ceridian for managing financial tasks and transactions.

• Handle Dayforce-related tasks as part of the job function.

• Carry out 401k - RRSP Administration duties, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

• Use the 'About Time' management system for efficient time tracking and payroll processing.

• Perform regular auditing of payroll records and transactions for accuracy.

• Manage and resolve customer inquiries related to payroll and benefits.

• Perform accounting functions as needed, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.

• Handle benefit functions, including the administration of employee benefits and ensuring compliance with benefit policies and regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now

• Proficiency with Ceridian and Dayforce software

• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration

• Knowledge of About Time software

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Auditing processes

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions

• Ability to work in a high tech engineering industry.
