Position Title : Payroll Specialist - Remote with Restrictions

A reputable healthcare company is looking for a payroll specialist to join their team. This payroll specialist will be responsible for processing biweekly payroll for 2,000 employees, handling timecards reconciling payroll entries. Qualified candidate should have 3+ years of high-volume payroll processing experience, proficiency in UKG the ability to handle various ad-hoc tasks

Responsibilities Include:

This Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing biweekly and weekly payrolls, for about 2000 employees.

Processes both the weekly and bi-weekly payrolls.

Interprets and prepares payroll time and adjustment transactions and uploads/inputs data into the payroll system.

Reconciles the payroll output for processing. Maintains payroll records and reports.

Handles inquiries from employees/departments regarding paycheck problems using various payroll reports and on-line system inquiry functions.

Understands and interprets various payroll reports to reconcile payroll activity prior to disbursement of pay checks.

Understands and interprets various payroll reports to for the purpose of verifying and/or explaining payroll system activity.

Assists in review coordinating and inputting the processing of all legal garnishment court orders, tax liens and credit union deductions.

Coordinates payroll checks for delivery and distribution to the various hospitals.

Handles, follows-up, explains and documents employee/department questions concerning paychecks using various payroll reports and/or on-line

system inquiry functions as required.

Assists in the completion of salary and wage verifications requested by third parties.

Files payroll reports, direct deposit and general deduction forms, adjustment forms, etc.

Qualifications/Skills

· 3+ years of experience processing payroll for 1500+ employees for a company with revenue over $300 million

· Experience working with Garnishments

· Proficient within ADP, PeopleSoft, Kronos, UKG

· Proficient in Excel: ability to utilize Vlookups and Pivot tables in Excel
