Description

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in New Brunswick, New Jersey. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll and maintaining accurate records in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient with ADP payroll software.

Responsibilities:

• Processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner for a substantial number of employees.

• Managing multiple company codes and ensuring that all information is correctly inputted.

• Handling various types of employees, both salaried and hourly, in a non-unionized environment.

• Applying accounting skills to manage the general ledger, including payroll journal entries and payroll taxes.

• Utilizing ADP Workforce Now and other Accounting Software Systems in the execution of daily tasks.

• Ensuring compliance with 401k - RRSP Administration.

• Performing accounting functions and auditing tasks as necessary.

• Managing and resolving customer inquiries related to payroll.

• Performing benefit functions and managing related queries.

• Utilizing the 'About Time' tool to effectively manage time and tasks.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is crucial

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now is essential

• Proficiency in About Time software is an advantage

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions is needed

• Experience in Auditing is a plus

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is necessary
